Ambience: classic, minimalist burger eatery with chrome and wood decor and very nice staff
Ordering procedure: counter service (they call your number for order pickup)
Burger presentation: wrapped in paper then in tin foil, all in a paper bag with the fries and takeaway ketchups
Standard toppings: lettuce, tomato, onion, mustard, mayo, pickle, relish
Cheese situation: only included on certain selections
Fries: wedge cut, seasoned
Meal deal: all combos listed under “specials”, items available separately as well
Meal price: $8-15
Other: TV playing the news, view of grill area from seating, digital menu display, soda fountain behind counter
First location: Los Angeles, California (three L.A. area locations, plus one in Ohio)
Review: A well cooked burger with fresh toppings but in a weak, dry bun. It doesn’t ruin it but it does diminish the experience. The fries are solid but I’m more of a traditionalist for the thinner cut. Not a must try but you do get plenty for the money.
