Ambience: a bland sit-down chain restaurant feel but with good, nice staff
Ordering procedure: wait service (table or bar seating, you seat yourself)
Burger presentation: with cheese on but all toppings left off for self-application
Barney’s Burger: lettuce, onion, tomato, pickle, and a house sauce on the side
Cheese situation: add-on charge to classic options, comes on specialty options
Fries: fat & skinny styles
Meal deal: burger, fries, and drink must be bought separately
Meal price: $15-20
Other: napkin & dinnerware stock on table, fries served in own mesh metal dish
First location: Unknown (chain based in Los Angeles and San Francisco areas)
Review: It was satisfyingly large but it tasted (and looked) like about what you’d get at an Applebee’s. Nothing defining or original about it. Not terrible but I’d pass. Over-toasted bun, too.
